Trace: Thornbury & So…teur Radio Club

Thornbury & South Gloucestershire Amateur Radio Club

From TSGARC

Thornbury and South Gloucestershire Amateur Radio Club meets on a Wednesday evening at the United Reform Church Hall in Thornbury at 7:30 - 09:30pm.

We are a small club with 10 - 12 active members, our members have come from many backgrounds into Amateur radio.

In addition to a common interest in radios members have many other hobbies and interests that have become part of the clubs life, these include computers and IT, aero modelling, vintage radios and equipment, digital photography, space technology and historical engineering. A number of our members are active in the local RAYNET Group

The club programme reflects this mix of interests, and in addition to regular 'on the air' nights we have a variety of guest and club speakers, video evenings, practical equipment nights and the occasional external visit
